Change XCom Installation Method
The XCom installation screen has changed since October 30, 2009.
The reason for changing the installation method is as follows.
1. Introducing Sentinel Super pro Protection Key
The Sentinel Super pro, another key format, is notified by HASP that HASP (former Aladdin) Parallel Type Key will soon be discontinued and ready for new products prior to discontinuance. We have introduced a protection key.
2. Protection driver installation error
Because both Hasp and Sentinel Super pro, which XCom uses as a license key, are recognized as computer peripherals, the driver must be installed for use. However, the device driver may not be installed in the PC, or the driver may not be installed normally due to the deletion of the driver or other errors.
For the same reason, the existing installation of XCom and its protection driver has been changed from the way the protection driver was previously included in the XCom installation file.
In the past, the protection driver was installed by following the XCom installation screen. However, currently, the driver is installed only by selecting Sentinel Super pro or HASP according to the protection key type purchased after installing XCom. There are no major changes or functional differences.
Those who have purchased HASP keys will not have any problem recognizing the keys even if they use XCom installation files before October 30, 2009. However, customers who have purchased the Sentinel Super pro key must After that, you can use the XCom installation file to recognize the key.
