We process personal information for the purpose of verifying the identity of Linkgenesis Q&A users, confirming consultation matters, contacting and notifying them for fact-finding, and notifying them of processing results.

Linkgenesis uses users' personal information within the scope notified in "3. Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Information" and does not use it beyond the scope or disclose users' personal information to outside parties without users' prior consent. However, exceptions are made in the following cases.

6. Procedure for destroying personal information

Linkgenesis destroys personal information without delay when it becomes unnecessary, such as the expiration of the personal information retention period or the achievement of the purpose of processing.

A. Procedures and methods for destroying personal information

1) Destruction procedure

■ Linkgenesis selects the personal information for which the reason for destruction has occurred and destroys the personal information with the approval of the personal information protection officer of Linkgenesis.

■ If the personal information retention period agreed to by the information subject has elapsed or the purpose of processing has been fulfilled, but the personal information must continue to be preserved in accordance with other laws and regulations, the personal information shall be transferred to a separate database (DB) or preserved in a different storage location.

2) Method of destruction

■ Personal information recorded and stored in the form of electronic files shall be destroyed using technology that makes it impossible to reproduce the records.

■ Personal information recorded and stored in paper documents is destroyed by shredding or incineration.



7. User's Rights, Obligations, and Methods of Exercise

The rights and obligations of users and how to exercise them are described below.

A. The information subject may exercise the following personal information protection rights against Linkgenesis at any time.

1) Request to view personal information

2) Request for correction in case of errors, etc.

3) Request for deletion of personal information upon termination of service

4) Request for suspension of processing


B. The exercise of the rights under Paragraph (a) may be made in writing, e-mail, facsimile transmission (FAX), etc. to Linkgenesis in accordance with the form in Appendix No. 8 of the Enforcement Rules of the Personal Information Protection Act, and Linkgenesis will take action without delay.

C. If the information subject requests the correction or deletion of errors in personal information, Linkgenesis will not use or provide the personal information until the correction or deletion is completed.

D. The exercise of the rights under Paragraph (a) may be made through an agent, such as the legal representative of the legal entity of the information subject or a person who has been delegated. In this case, a power of attorney in the form of Enforcement Rule No. 11 of the Personal Information Protection Act must be submitted.


8. Technical and administrative protection measures for personal information

In handling users' personal information, Linkgenesis takes the following technical and administrative measures to ensure safety so that personal information is not lost, stolen, leaked, altered or damaged.

A. Technical measures

We manage access rights to personal information processing systems, install access control systems, encrypt unique identification information, and install security programs to ensure the safe transmission of personal information on the network.

B. Administrative measures

We always emphasize compliance with Linkgenesis' privacy policy through the establishment and implementation of internal management plans and regular employee training.

You can report all personal information protection-related complaints arising from the use of Linkgenesis services to the person in charge of personal information management. The Company will provide a prompt and sufficient response to users' reports.

10. Duty to Notify

If there is any addition, deletion, or modification of the contents of the current privacy policy, we will notify you through the 'Notice' on the homepage at least 7 days before the revision. However, if there is a significant change in user rights, such as the collection and utilization of personal information or provision to a third party, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance.
